Befriend
9:30 am; September 8-November 17, A-54
Led by Chris Drury
Is real friendship too risky? We live in a world where real friendship is hard to find. Suspicious of others and insecure about ourselves, we retreat to the safety of our small, self-made digital worlds. Tragically, even the church can become a place that reinforces this isolation. Jesus models a much richer vision of friendship. Through this class, we will learn to see the breadth of Christ’s love toward people we often avoid. We will learn principles for befriending those around us with the love of Jesus.

AHA-Awakening.Honesty.Action
9:30 am; September 8-November 17; A-61
Led by Jacob Fitch and Vicar Johnson
What precipitates change? What makes people change? What good is a ‘faith’ that doesn’t? Without a transformation, what good is religion? In this study, we will examine three stages: awakening, honesty, and action; necessary to bring about a life-altering “Aha!” moment and set us on a new path. This study is geared towards those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s.
