It is an exciting time for your “almost” 2nd grader! They are learning how to read and discovering the wonderful world of books! St. Paul would like to come alongside you and help make God’s Word an integral part of what they read. We would like to help you teach your child how to read the Bible by providing some structure, direction and a lot of fun! No matter where your child goes to school, you need to “home school” him or her spiritually.

Our custom at St. Paul Church and School is to provide each and every 2nd grader with their very own Bible. We do this in an exciting way – a special overnight retreat for you and your child! The retreat will cover the New Testament books only. We will follow up with Old Testament books on Sunday mornings during our regular Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30am) on August 27, September 2, 10, 17 & 24. During this time, you and your child will be in Sunday School together, exploring God’s Word. Meet in classroom B-61
